Heirloom Plants (SGA)
One of the attractions of growing your own veggies is the taste.
Many people suggest that the varieties that are available today in the local nurseries and the supermarkets (as produce) are bland by comparison to heirloom plants.
In my research for the next article, on heirlooms, I found this article on Sustainable Gardening Australia. It gives a nice background on the subject.
